* Exports account for 33,100 tonnes (6.89%)

* Temporary accounts for 138,000 tonnes ( 28.7%)

 

In the UK in one year, we "land covered" and "land filled" enough tyres to produce:

Carbon Black - 67,966 tonnes
Oil (grade 2) - 52,904 tonnes (897,442 barrels)
Gas - 70,309 tonnes
Steel - 13,212 tonnes
