PYReco is delighted to have been short listed in the Environment Award category at this year’s Energy Institute Awards. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Energy Institute's (El) Awards, honouring the very best in excellence and innovation within the international energy industry.

 

The winners will be revealed at the El Awards dinner, hosted by Gabby Logan, BBC Sports presenter, which will be held on Thursday 19th November, at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London.

 

The Environment Award is sponsored by the Environment Agency.

 

The nominees;

 

1. BP International for 'How Green is the Valley Now?' - the transformation from refinery to urban village.

2. HPCLVisakh Refinery for pollution control by routing hotwell off gas 3.

Pyreco for their tyre pyrolysis project, turning tyres back into raw materials, energy and new products

4. University of Nottingham for the design and construction of unique low carbon homes to test varying aspects of buildings construction and technologies
